About Us
Founded in 1998, Building a Better Bensalem Together (B3T) is a coalition, made up of community members who have banded together to make Bensalem Township a great place to live, work and raise children. B3T has sponsored many programs and events through the years including, the Bullying Prevention Program, the Free Family Movie Nights at the Amphitheater, Project ALERT drug prevention program, Supporting School Success and The Incredible Years parenting programs, Family Fun Day, The Unity Week/Faith Communities Activities, the No Place for Hate campaign and the Lions and Tigers Show at Bensalem Pride Day.
Everyone of every age is welcome to join. But in order to make sure that the organization remains citizen-led, everyone who joins is required to serve on one of the organization’s committees, where all the coalition’s decisions are made. There is a committee for every talent and interest. They include Diversity, Programming, Assessment, Evaluation, Membership, Youth, Funding, Sustainability and Public Relations.
The coalition and its committees meet every other month.
